Tomorrow, Sunday is my father in law's birthday!! We'll be going out for dinner to celebrate!! This will be my last "cheat" meal till after my show--I have to celebrate... Dick is an amazing man and Darrin and I love him dearly.

We had a pretty busy week that included a scare with Darrin's mom heading to the hospital but thank goodness she's Ok and is back at home getting better. 
Today my mom came over for a visit...I haven't seen her in weeks and we had a great visit in between making Dick's birthday treats :) Also, Christine Dobrocky, who just competed in her very first figure competition, is featured on bodybuilding.com this week. Good job Christine..i'm positive your story will inspire many!! Check her out--she looks great!!

My diet and training have been a bit of a struggle this week...it has been sooo hot and humid for the past few days--i was dragg'n my butt through my workouts but thank goodness, between Jake and Darrin they both pushed and inspired me to keep going--and i did. My body is still changing and my skin is really beginning to tighten up--by the end of next week I should be almost at my goal weight and body fat % with still a couple weeks to spare. I'll do my bodycomp tomorrow morning to see exactly where I am :)
4 weeks and counting.....
I just want to send out good wishes to all the gals who are currently prepping for the Nationals in 4 weeks. Kim T, Cindy C, Christine L, Nancy D, Debbie S and Heather W--you all are great ladies and I'm honoured to have gotten to know each one of you, You all are true Champions!!
Can't wait to see everyone in Edmonton!

It amazes me how Lori-Ann gets through her workout. She never looks like it's a struggle. She does look like she is tightening up and soon we will see dramtatic changes I'm sure. Hang in there girl and enjoy your cheat.

Tell Darrin and Mark I can do my own testing unless they really feel they just HAVE TO sacrifice themselves.
By the time they are finished making sure it is good enough for me, there is hardly enough to fill my cavities.
When it is time to have a cheat meal (tonight) I can teach you how to do a real number on it. I will get Kay to hold Darrin back so you can enjoy an learn your lesson well.
ohhhhh....my tummy....we just got in from Dick's birthday celebration and my stomach is VERY satisfied (and bloated)!! I can't believe it, Darrin is still eating some of the bday treats i made for Dick...i can't eat another nibble or i'll explode!! My last cheat was a great one--Thanks "dad"! Mark on your calendar... July 4th I'll be back hungrier than ever!! Enjoy your goodies..Happy Birthday!
ps. Mark and Darrin will have to have some refresher lessons...they were lightweights last night..lol.

Well seems like you took full opportunity on your last cheat meal..eat till you pop LOL. Once I pigged out so much I was in major pain..ouch. I was on my back whole night,hardly slept...any slight movement and I was in excrutiating pain...I honstly thought I will pop!!

Glad to hear that your dinner went well Dick! Isn't Lori-Ann a great "baker"? I don't know how she can keep from eating it all! She has amazing "will power"! I wish some of it would "rub off" on me (will power that is!!!)I won't mention that Lori-Ann let me try some of her baking too! Lucky me!
I'm glad that Kay is feeling better and was able to go for dinner. I like that picture also! Good looking people!

Hey Lia--ya..it seems like the envy/jealously bug is rearing its ugly head within a lot of competitors lives right now(quite common in this industry by a few bad apples)...The comments that were made about me were put forth by a piece of garbage from my gym...I know who she is and she's definately not worth any of my time or energy getting upset over it.
We've said this before, you are truly a beautiful woman on the inside and out and anyone who disagrees is just plain jealous. We are all standing behind you 100% and wish you all the greatness that life will bring you.
