Despite the rainy weather yesterday, Dick and Kay pulled off another amazing annual BBQ. Instead of being outside they opened up the garage and set up the tables and food inside therefore everything stayed dry, including us--it had an awesome summer BBQ feeling. Darrin was the chef "extraordinaire" bbqing all the delicious food that Kay prepared. With 25 people sharing the evening with Dick and Kay; everything went off without a hitch. Paul received a HUGE surprise when Kay secretly arranged a birthday cake for his 40th. Paul looked shocked when Darrin came walking with the cake, sparklers and all into the garage. However, i think people were more shocked when he said he is turning 40!!
Great food, Great people, and an absolute Great time!! Thank-you Dick and Kay for hosting another incredible BBQ!!

Snuggles update:
Some of you may be aware that Snuggles had surgery this week (yes, Paul is her doctor) and now is recovering beautifully. She was a bundle of energy yesterday and definitely the centre of attention!! She still has her stitches in but they weren't stopping her from socializing with everyone and trying to sneak a treat when no one was look'n..lol..!

Wow heaps of new pics :) Rio is gorgeous as always...7 is my lucky number LOL. I bet she got spoiled rotten!! What op did Snuggles have? Looks like Darrin has cooked up the storm at the BB LOL...isn't he sick and tired of cooking sometimes? As for Paul..it looks like he was given some extra antiaging genes when he was born or doe he have some secrets he wants to share?That boy looks way too young for 40!!!!Hope all is sweet with you girl and life is treating you well :)

Snuggles had a tumor removed from her leg. She's such a cute doggie--i think when Darrin moved out Snuggles kinda replaced him at home...lol..and just as spoiled..maybe a little more:)
D loves cooking--and i love eating..lol.great combo!...any chance he can get to attain a "little" more attention he'll gladly take. This BBQ is an annual event and Darrin always does the cooking..everyone looks forward to it:)
Doesn't Paul look amazing..I can't believe he's 40 either and he's my brother-in-law. I still can't get my head around my sister and him going skydiving..crazy!! I guess all the adventures they go on keeps him young!
And me, i'm enjoying the summer especially now that i've had a chance to relax. Still a little bit of grief here and there but overall I can't complain. Have you decided if you are still going to compete? Summerslam (wrestling) is beginning so i should go and join Darrin.

Hey LA :)I am sure Snuggles will heal real fast with all that love around her!! LOL I myself love cooking+ eating..dangerous combo let me tell you.On top I am baking machine,just like you.But I am doing my best to stay away from baking trays ha ha!
Hmmmm my comp? As I said on Emerge forum I was going to support my friend,so she does not feel too stressed with her first comp.As you know she won't be able to make it,so I do not feel like doing it.The whole point was to help her out and not me stepping on stage.I have done my dash with competing and have no desire to get serious.But I have alreday organized new bikini,shoes etc...so I might do...at the moment it is 50/50
