finally.......an update

Hey everyone,

I’m sorry for the lack of updates but the past couple of weeks have been extremely busy. I promised myself before bed tonight I’d have an update done and uploaded onto my blog.

What’s been going on in my life for the past couple weeks…well for one, a lot of work!! The store has been extremely busy and keeping me on my toes. It’s been amazing meeting so many new people and having amazing visits from friends! I love seeing everyone!! I think the summer-like weather is bringing everyone out and about:) I know i'm absolutely lov’n the sunshine and warm temperatures! ***************************************************************

My sister had told me about her husband being famous! Apparently all his photography has paid off and he’s been acknowledged by discovering Hamilton’s newest waterfall! Last weekend Darrin and I attended a charity benefit in Toronto that Emerge Inc. sponsored and it was nice. A lot of money was raised and everyone had a great time. We were hoping his website would be ready in time but unfortunately the Emerge site will still be another week or so before it’s unveiled to the world, Darrin is working extremely hard on the site and it looks great!

"the cheesecake saga"

My diet has been amazing!! Although the week before last….

Darrin brought home a SCRUMPTIOUS homebaked cheesecake, I wasn’t tempted..well..ok, maybe a little or well….A LOT…but I didn’t give in!! Darrin received this work of art from a client that he did a diet for…can you believe it! She repaid him in cheesecake!! lol but he wasn’t complaining as it was simply amazing! I couldn’t believe the sheer weight of it. Thank you Chelsea for taking care of Darrin’s sweet tooth…he loved it! And i'm hoping there will be a piece still frozen for me when i'm allowed to have a cheat meal:)

Stratford countdown:

LESS THAN A WEEK TO GO…

Team Emerge member, Pauline Trinier will be making her OPA debut this coming weekend in Stratford. She’s entering her final week and she look’s simply amazing!! This gal has worked very hard and is incredibly focused. Her posing and stage presentation is fabulous and her suits that were designed and created by Karen of KHP designs www.khpdesigns.com are true masterpieces…..they are GORGEOUS!! Good luck Pauline….these next few days are going to fly by and before you know it…you’ll be eating and I’ll be posting the results right here!! Check back next Sunday for all the pics from the show!

Allmax info:
I’ll be with Allmax this weekend at the Stratford competition…make sure you come by the booth to say HI and see what’s new at Allmax!! I’ll have my camera with me so be prepared for lots of pics!!! I can’t wait to see everyone and represent Allmax!!

10 weeks and counting till the Nationals:

I received the poster for the Nationals in the mail and it looks great! I’m getting really excited to go out to Edmonton this year! The past couple weeks my physique has made huge changes… my diet has been bang on, with NO cheats!! We changed things up again a week ago and my body has kicked into overdrive! It’s very motivating to see the changes that are happening week to week. Now I just need a tan! My fellow team emerge member, Kelly is also doing VERY well with her prep...she's soo far ahead and looks amazing!

My training is also going great!! My strength is through the roof and I have a tone of energy! The only thing that is driving me crazy is my sleep pattern…I can’t sleep for more than 3 hours at a time…the slightest little “flop” or sound wakes me up. I’m hoping this is just temporary.
