Wow..i cannot believe how fast this week is flying by. We had a great Thanksgiving dinner at Dick and Kay's on Sunday. We were all stuffed and had lots of leftovers. On Sunday, my mom went to the cottage and my sister & Paul went to Paul's mom's place. Our family was split up but we were all thinking of one another throughout the weekend. I got to see my mom on Monday when she popped in to pick up a pumpkin pie Kay had made for her. 
LA'S NEW DIET BEGINS!!
I started my new diet stats this week and I feel AWESOME!! It's not really a new "diet" just new numbers. I'm already down a couple pounds and Darrin is letting me lift heavy in the gym again!! Woo hoo! I like my workouts again and am motivated to hit the gym everyday.
The last couple of weeks have been extremely busy for Darrin and the response and reaction to the new company is over whelming!! But like every company, in the beginning it takes time to build and establish..but he's on his way!! Darrin has top lawyers, accountants and advisers all working for him and the success of this business is guaranteed! In five years he'll look back on all the work he's doing now and sacrifices we've made but he'll be glad he did it. Hard work now means big payoffs for the future!
I came home from work today and looked outside and can you believe it was SNOWING!! I couldn't believe what i was seeing...lol...wow..Christmas is coming too fast! But ironically i bought my first Christmas gift last week, yes.. i love Christmas and start my shopping early:)

Have a great weekend everyone..we have lots of plans this weekend but I'll save those for the update on Sunday:) Tomorrow is Friday the 13th!! Hope everyone has a "lucky" day:) Its always been a good one for me!

I always get my shopping done early, i have quite few people to buy for and lots of visiting around christmas time. I always like to be prepared ahead of time in order to do my christmas baking closer to the holidays:)
The new club is great:) Its slowly beginning to feel like "home"..lol.
The pie looks scrumptious! I have a month of dieting left then watch out!

It seems like summer was just here, and now Christmas is right around the corner.
I usually do all my Christmas shopping the week of Christmas, cause I am such a procrastinator...Yikes! Good for you for starting so early :) :)

Chris, one good thing about winter is...we can stay covered up so the dieting doesn't have to be extremely hard core :) but I still am a sun gal and love the beach--i would take the sun over snow anyday. The new numbers for my stats are good, i don't feel so bloated and soft. Oh,ya I got your message through myspace but i'm limiting my use on there because of virus'..so i'll send you a response to your email later:)
Mel, I can't wait to see you guys tonight and catch up..its only been less then a month since i've seen you but it feels like forever! So much has happened in a month...we'll be up all night chatt'n:)Darrin does his shopping right before christmas too..but thats ok, i usually have everyone else done so all he has to worry about is ME!!
Jennie, D's mom made that apple pie..it's my FAVOURITE!! and yes, Darrin and I are doing great with all the new ventures!
